2025 Father/Son Mass and Breakfast Largest Ever

Louis Fabro
A big THANK YOU to all those who helped make this year’s Father/Son Mass & Breakfast on March 1 the largest in the event’s 16-year history.

We are especially grateful to our celebrant, school Chaplain Fr. Michal Wojciak,  and our guest speaker, Dr. Dennis Durbin ’79 MD, President of the Abigail Wexner Research Institute at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

More than 425 people were on hand for the event, including alumni, alumni fathers and current students, grandfathers, and friends. In addition, there were many incoming 9th graders and 5th-8th grade boys and their fathers who are interested in learning more about the school.

Thanks also to our caterer, Berwick Manor and the Susi Family, for a wonderful breakfast buffet; Sacristan Sr. Margaret Hoffman, OSF (SC faculty member); organist Isaac Dryfuse ’26; cantor Milan Lillis ’26, readers Jim Zink ‘89 and his son, Jimmie ’26. We are also grateful to the St. Charles Alumni Association for sponsoring and helping coordinate the event, including event chairman Dr. Ralph Napolitano ’89 and the association’s president. Jim Greenhalge ’88.

A truly great day as we continue to work to “Build Better Men” within our Carolian Community!
